Surah Ibrahim Verses 51–52

51
لِيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍۢ مَّا كَسَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ
So that Allāh will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allāh is swift in account.
Word by Word ▾
لِيَجْزِىَSo that Allah may recompenseliyajziya
ٱللَّهُSo that Allah may recompensel-lahu
كُلَّeachkulla
نَفْسٍۢsoulnafsin
مَّا(for) whatmā
كَسَبَتْit earnedkasabat
إِنَّIndeedinna
ٱللَّهَAllahl-laha
سَرِيعُ(is) Swiftsarīʿu
ٱلْحِسَابِ(in) the reckoningl-ḥisābi
52
هَٰذَا بَلَٰغٌۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
This [Qur’ān] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding will be reminded.

هَٰذَاThishādhā
بَلَٰغٌۭ(is) a Messagebalāghun
لِّلنَّاسِfor the mankindlilnnāsi
وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟that they may be warnedwaliyundharū
بِهِۦwith itbihi
وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟and that they may knowwaliyaʿlamū
أَنَّمَاthat onlyannamā
هُوَHehuwa
إِلَٰهٌۭ(is) One Godilāhun
وَٰحِدٌۭ(is) One Godwāḥidun
وَلِيَذَّكَّرَand that may take heedwaliyadhakkara
أُو۟لُوا۟menulū
ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ(of) understandingl-albābi
