This page explains how we prepare our content, which sources we use, and what checks content passes before publishing.
The Sources We Use
Tanzil Project
Arabic Quran text (Uthmani), under a CC BY 3.0 license — attribution required, text used unmodified.
QuranEnc
English translation and tafsir summary — republished under the platform's own terms of use, with source and edition credited.
AlAdhan API
Prayer times, qibla angle, and Hijri calendar calculations — an open, publicly available REST API.
Islamic Network CDN
Recitation audio streaming — files aren't copied to our own storage, only streamed.

How an Article Is Prepared
Before publishing, every article passes the following checklist:
- ›At least 800 words of original, search-intent-focused text.
- ›At least 3 sources: a Quran verse, a reliable tafsir/hadith source, or an encyclopedic reference.
- ›The first few sentences answer the page's core question directly.
- ›At least 3 internal links — to a related verse, topic, or another article.
- ›No absolute-outcome language ("guaranteed", "certain", "will definitely"); religious claims use hedged language ("it is narrated that", "commonly held view").
Religious Sensitivity Policy
- ›Content does not carry the weight of a religious ruling or fatwa; it is informational.
- ›Any claim is backed by at least one source (a verse, a hadith source, or a reliable reference).
- ›On topics with recognized scholarly disagreement, no single view is presented as the only correct one.
- ›Content resembling medical, legal, or financial advice carries an explicit caution notice on that page.
