1. DATA WE COLLECT AND RETENTION

When you use the site, hosting and security infrastructure may generate technical access records such as IP address, browser/device information, request time, and requested pages. Analytics services may generate aggregated or anonymized usage and performance measurements as described below.

No account is required for general visitors. Preferences such as favorite verses, reading streak, and reading position are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not tied to a visitor account. Authentication is used only for the site's administration panel.

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are processed to answer your request. Form data may be processed through Supabase, and Resend may be used to deliver form notifications by email.

Data is retained while the relevant processing purpose continues or for longer where applicable law requires it. Third-party providers may retain technical logs according to their own policies.

2. LOCAL STORAGE, COOKIES, AND CONSENT

Our own consent-preference record is not a cookie. Your local analytics/advertising preference is stored in browser localStorage so the site can remember the choice without asking again on every page load.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other contexts where Google's TCF-based consent management applies, a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework is the authoritative consent source. Optional Google analytics/advertising processing remains disabled until the current consent context is authoritative and any required user choice has been made. Outside those regions, the site's own consent interface may be used.
